150 Years of the celebration of the First Freedom Movement"

Jamnagar Chamber of Commerce has organized 150 Years of the celebration of the First Freedom Movement which was started in the year 1857. Mr. Mehboob Desai, the director of the center was invited at Jamnagar to delivere a talk on "First Freedom Movement 1857". Mr. Narottam Patel also delivered a lactute in the same.

Visit to Sabarmati Ashram

Visit to Sabarmati Ashram (Established by Gandhiji in 1917), Ahmedabad by student of Department of History. The tour was organized by Gandhian Studies Center on 5th August, 2006.

Debate Competition on "Gandhi : in my view"

In order to cultivate the Gandhian thoughts amongst the students of University, Center had organized a debate competition on 3rd October, 2006 at court hall, Bhavnagar University. The theme of debate competitiion was "Gandhi : in my view"

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. H. C. Trivedi, who was one of the expert in debate competition. A physically handicapped student had participated in this competition. Total 60 Students had participated from various Departments.
