An Exhibition of 155 Documents of Veneration presented to Mahatma Gandhiji was organized on 11,12 September 2009 in the Sardar Smriti, Bhavnagar. During this two days exhibition, a number of educational institutions of the city as well as the district like shri Dakshina Murti,Nilambag Kumar Mandir, ‘Gharshala’ Home school, Valukad Adhyapan Mandir,Sakariya Mahila College, Botad, Smt. Gandhi Mahila College, Bhavnagar, Post-Graduate Department of History, Schools and common people totaling almost about 3000 people had enjoy this exhibition and had quoted their responses. Gandhian Study Center published detail booklet of this event. The Chairman of University Grant Commission, New Delhi

National Seminar on “Gandhiji’s View on Village

Development” as Resource Person Director of Center Prof. Mehboob Desai Lecture on “Gandhi and Dharma” on 10th October at B.R.S. College, Dumiyani (Dis: Rajkot). Coordinator and 10 Studets of Post-graduates department participated in this seminar.

Reading Workshop

Reading workshop Organized by the center at Gautmeshwe Aashram,Sihor on 12th January 2010 for the Post-Graduate Students of Bhavnagar University. Mayer Smt. Nimubahen Bhanbhaniya and Dy. Mayer Shri Hareshbhai Navadiya of Bhavnagar city and the Registrar of Bhavnagar University Shri Kaushik Bhatt were the Chief Gust of inaugural Function. 200 post graduate students of departments participated in this Reading work shop.
